There are many by this hand | and very unmistakable techniques in public & private Collections. | They are generally attributes to J. C. [...]es or Paul Sandy & in one case | at least are embellished by an added P. S. segue line(?), [...] probably | originated from the Holborn district. | They are quite certainly neither PS nor [...] but are sufficiently interesting for a research to be made."; on back of mount, center: "English School | Country Scene: | Cottage and Figures on a Winding Road"
