Inscribed in pen and black ink, upper left: "A Three strings of white Pearls | B this oval form is Red Set in Gold | the 8 spaces round it are one Green Set in Ds. | CC Two Large Pearls | D the seven apartments betwixt these two strings of Pearls are Red and Green | E. This is exactly the same with that described, A B CC | F. Two Large Pearls | G Two smaller ones suspended by a Piece of Gold of a Triangular form"; center left to lower left: "Z This is the same as that described ABCC | Short horns tip't wt.
