These fac'd ye | four adjoining Streets, that of K. John Northw'd, K. Hen. 3.d Eastw.d, K.Edw.d3.d West.d & K.Edw.d.4th Southw.d In ye Year 1633 it was taken down, enlarg d & raisd higher, | when 4 other Statues were added, viz K. Hen.6.thEastw.d,Q.Eliz.Westw.d.K.James1.stSouthw'd&K.Cha.1st.Northw.d. It was at ye same Time environ'd with Iron~ | Pallisadoes, Guilded and Painted. Its Height was thirty nine Feet and Six Inches ~~~ Sam.l & Nath.l Buck delin. et sculpt. 1734"
