In artist's hand, in black, beneath image, left: "John Farleigh". In brown type, beneath image, across page: "Westminster Abbey is today mostly Early English Gothic of the time of Henry III. Stand by| the tomb of the Unknown Warrior to appreciate the glory of the loftiest nave in England.| Inspect Chaucer's tomb in Poets' Corner, then pass on to the chancel. Here are the royal| tombs with their magnificent effigies, the Coronation Chair, and the splendour of Henry VII's| Chapel with its banners of the Order of the Bath and its perfect fan vaulting."
